Opening Game - Pregame Location

For those going to Opening day, where are folks pre-gaming now that the Bullpen will be gone and replaced with some kind of shipping container market.

I'll most likely be at the Ugly Mug!

I had no idea that the Bullpen was leaving this year.

Never been to the Ugly Mug. I think I've heard of it. Where is it and how is it?

I never pregame before a Nats game. Hockey, definitely. But there's something about a baseball game where I only care for a few beers. Afterwards, though, we'll walk up South Capital to Capital Hill and go to the 18 Amendment sometimes and hang out in the basement. Let me see if I can find a pic..I know I have one.

Ugly Mug is nearby has a little golf cart they will drive you over to the CF gate with and has really good food and really tall table kegs.

Highly recommend it's usually where we go before the games.

Ugly Mug is on 8th an I streets. Just up from the Navy Yard. Lots of Bars on 8th Street. Molly Malone's runs a shuttle, but I'm partial to The Ugly Mug!

Saw "The Fairgrounds" yesterday. I think I liked The Bullpen and Das Bullpen better.
